VibeTM Methodology

The VibeTM System is a personal branding methodology that tracks a shopper's aspirations to recommend relevant personal image and self-improvement products. Why track aspirations? Because if you know a customer's aspirations or "goals", it's easy to predict and present relevant products.

Aspirations: The Holy Grail of Retail

VibeTM Retail System is based on the concept that much of retail shopping is more about one's future than one's past or present. For example, the phrase "dress for success" is as much a strategy toward attaining one's desired future as revealing shopping as a form of personal exploration and a way to perfect one's personal brand story. Thus, in the case of etail "shopping", while online "search" functions (i.e., when one has a predefined notion of a product to purchase) are well-developed, VibeTM Solutions fill the online void in true "browsing" or window-shopping (where a shopper wants to explore or seek inspiration).

Personal Brand Metrics

As an intellectual animal, our personal brands are shaped by our ability to think and creative. So by profiling creative thought aspirations (i.e., the parts of the creative thought process that one is interested in participating in), a personal brand profile can be defined. More specifically, the VibeTM System defines 12 Key Creative Skill Metrics to map one's present and aspired future thinking abilities to develop a creative skills gap analysis or VibeTM Aspiration Profile.

V.I.B.E.TM Arch-Types

VibeTM Creative Skill Metrics are also grouped to define 4 primary VibeTM Personality ArchTypes: i.e., Visionary, Inventor, Builder and for close combinations of all three, Explorer (hence the acronym "VIBE"). While VibeTM Matching Algorithms are more complicated than simple arch-type matching, such "labels" are an easy way for consumers to understand and recall their generalized profiles.

Unprecedented Accuracy

Unlike other product matching systems that use demographics or buying histories to second-guess consumer preferences, VibeTM Systems simply ask customers to define the future they want. The result is a more meaningful and accurate profile to match products to, particularly in cases such as pre-career (teen) markets where demographic tracking is less potent.
